The Makerspace Learning Assessment Framework has been developed by researchers at The University of Sheffield for Maker{Futures} as a tool for teachers and makerspace leaders to assess HOW children learn within a makerspace.
The assessment framework uses the Characteristics of Effective Learning and the Bristol City Framework as a basis and has extended these to include creativity and critical thinking as separate elements, together with social learning - all of which are core makerspace skills.
